We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. To best serve all clients, we maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment, as missed or late cancellations are billed the full fee. This allows us to offer appointment times to others and maintain accessible services.

All clients must have current consent and intake forms completed in Jane. New and returning clients may be asked to review or update forms before sessions.

Hi! My name is Yuka (She/Her) and I am glad that you are here. I am a neurodivergent Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I hold a Master of Counselling degree from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Law and Society. I am currently completing my Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy degree to deepen my clinical expertise and strengthen my contributions to neurodiversity research and practice.

My personal journey, including undergoing brain surgery and navigating mental health challenges, has fueled my passion for clinical counselling and holistic well-being, encompassing both the mind and body. Born in Japan, raised in Singapore, and now living in Canada, I bring a multicultural and third culture perspective that honours the intersection of culture, identity, and lived experience to my practice.

As an AuDHD counsellor, I understand the importance of feeling heard, understood, and accepted. I prioritize creating a neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive space for individuals at every stage of their journey, whether you have received a formal diagnosis, suspect you may be neurodivergent, or are navigating a diagnosis, including ADHD and/or Autism.

I provide personalized and evidence based psychotherapy that aligns with each individual’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. I value and honor diversity by adopting a collaborative, empathic, and eclectic counselling approach to my practice, honouring the uniqueness of each individual’s experience.

If you feel ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out! I look forward to connecting with you!
